Hot Springs – Services for Lena M. Duncan, 76, Hot Springs, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Vande Bossche Funeral Chapel in Hot Springs. The Rev. Roy Brown will officiate and burial will be in the Pringle Cemetery. She died Wednesday in a Hot Springs Hospital. She was born Oct 8, 1907 in Covington, Ind (sic) to Mr. and Mrs. Albert A. Redenbaugh. She came to the Pringle area with her father when she was a young girl. In 1921 she married Arthur E. Duncan in Custer. They had 14 children. They lived in the Custer area until 1942 when they moved to Edgemont, where both worked at the Black Hills Army Depot at Igloo. Survivors include four sons: Jack of Tulsa Okla; Dale, address unknown; Billy of Umastilla, Ore and Herbert of Hot Springs; six daughter, Josephine of Rapid City; Gwen Meadors of Bakersfield, Calif; Bonnie Dibble of Edgemont; Peg Kanig of Long Beach, Calif; Deloris Kroupa if Kimball and Helen Schultz of New Guinea; 27 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by three daughters and a son. – kbz
