KINGMAN - Fred T. Duncan, age 66, of Edgewood, who lived in the Kingman area in his youth, died at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Community Hospital in Anderson. He had been ill a year. A native of Flat Rock, Ill., he was the son of Ira and Anna Peeples Duncan and he was born Aug. 11, 1903. He was married to Harriet Adams, who survives. Mr. Duncan was president and cofounder of the Pendleton Furniture Mart. He was street commissioner for the Edgewood Town Board at the time of his death. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Elks Lodge at Anderson. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: one son, Jerry F. of Long Grove, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Beverly Almquist of Anderson and Mrs. Judy Roberts of Bristol, Conn.; one stepdaughter, I,eanne Taylor of Anderson; one brother, Hobart Duncan of Crawfordsville; one sister, Mrs. Mary King of Venice, Fla.; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Baker Brothers Funeral Horne in Anderson. Burial was in the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. - jlr
