DUNCAN, Anna Turner

Stonebluff – Mrs. Anna M. Duncan, age 64 of Attica mother of Mrs. Martha Palmer of Stone Bluff died at 3:45 p.m. Sunday March 3 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette where she had been a patient since Feb 23.  The daughter of Charles and Mozeller Salvidge Turner, she was born July 6, 1903 in Rosebud, Ark. She was married May 17, 1923 at Sidon, Ark to James Duncan who survives. Surviving in addition to the husband are two sons: Jess of Williamsport and William Franklin of Searcy, Ark; three daughters, Mrs. Iva Strickland of Little Rock, Ark; Mrs. Thelma Herman of Attica and Mrs. Palmer of Stone Bluff; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Barker of Searcy, Ark and Mrs. Iza Belle Quattabaum of Canway, Ark; four brothers, Lewis Turner of Judsonia, Ark; Joe Turner of Searcy; Peter Turner of Rosebud, Ark and James Turner of Kensett, Ark;  21 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today March 6 at DeSutter Funeral Home in Attica. The Rev. Harry Randolph officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery. – kbz
