MELLOT, Ind. (CNS) — Mrs. Ruth Miller Duff of California, a former resident of Mellott, received word Friday that her husband, John E. Duff, had suffered a heart attack at Newport Beach, Calif. Mrs. Duff had been, called to Indiana by the death of her brother, J. Lee Miller of Mellott, who had a heart attack Wednesday. Following the funeral of her brother Saturday, she left for California. The word was received by Mrs. Mary Miller that Mrs. Duff's husband died early Sunday while she was en route home. Mr. Duff was 72 years of age and is survived by his widow; a daughter, Nancy Duff of San Francisco; and two sons, John E. Jr. of New York City and William at home. Mr. and Mrs. Duff had a home in Hawaii as well as California.
