DUCHENE, Elva Dark - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Elva Duchene of Kingman, age 75, died Monday evening, June 6, at her home. She was born near Kingman, May 28, 1908, the daughter of Arista and Hannah Jane Dark. She married Edward Duchene, who preceded her in death.

  Survivors include four sisters, Opal Wakeland of Kingman, Evalena Gritten, Hazel Wakeland and Laurena Allen, all of rural Kingman; a granddaughter, Mary Margaret Nolan of Oakwood, Illinois; a grandson, David Cox of Kingman; and seven great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Joan Cox, and a granddaughter, Roxann Cox.

  Funeral services were held this afternoon (Thursday) at Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery at Danville, Illinois. – thanks so much to S
