Morton Drollinger, 81-year-old retired farmer and lifetime resident of the Veedersburg community died at 4 a.m. Saturday at his home in Sterling. He had been in health for a lengthy period although he was able to look after business matters until very recently and with the knowledge that he was apparently afflicted with an incurable ailment. He was born March 20, 1871 the son of Daniel and Mary Keplinger Drollinger of near Veedersburg and was married to Eva Lightle, also of near here who preceded him in death. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Vey Perryman of Indianapolis and a brother, Harry Drollinger of Danville, Ill. Funeral services were held at 2:30 o’clock Monday afternoon in the Veedersburg Christian Church conducted by pastor, Rev. Richard Owen, with burial in Rockfield Cemetery with Fishero Funeral Home in charge. – kbz
