Veedersburg—Harry J. Drollinger, 81, 302 E. Third, Veedersburg, died at 10:44 a.m. Thursday, June 8, 1989 at Covington Manor Health Care Center.
He was born Aug. 13, 1908 in Mill Creek Township, the son of Webster and Carrye Caldwell Drollinger. He was married Sept. 14, 1945 in Veedersburg to Onda M. Schultz, who preceded him in death in 1980.
He had retired from the Veedersburg Fountain Foundry, where he worked as a molder.
Surviving are a stepdaughter, Nina Cox, Veedersburg; a stepson, Kenneth Hershberger, Mount Vernon; a brother, Oliver, Veedersburg; a sister, Avanell Sanders, Avon, Fla.; 11 step grandchildren; 11 step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Sunday at Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg, with the Rev. Cloyd Kyger officiating. Burial was in Rockfield Cemetery. – thanks to S
