Kingman -- Mrs. Myrtie Drake, 82, wife of James Drake, died in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Leslie Adkins at 2:45 p.m. Saturday. She had been in failing health several months. She was born in Fountain county and was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church at Snoddy. Surviving with the husband are two daughters, Mrs. Adkins and Mrs. Ruby Odle, Veedersburg; three sisters: Mrs. Ola Hathaway of near Kingman and Mrs. Florence Moore and Mrs. Ida Dickerson both of Danville, Ill and three brothers, Noah Richardson of near Kingman and Will and Jess Richardson both of near Covington. - kbz
