Attica – George William Drake, 65, purchasing agent 22 years for the Harrison Steel Casting Co died unexpectedly of a heart attack at 10 a.m. Sunday at his home, 401 E. Pine St. Born at Kingman, Mr. Drake also was formerly employed by the DuPont Chemical Co plant at Newport. He had been in failing health about a year. He was married in 1927 to Marion Winks.  Mr. Drake was a member of the Attica-Williamsport Rotary Club and Lafayette Purchasing Agents Association. He attended Attica schools.  Surviving with the widow is a son, Robert of Minneapolis, Minn.

Attica – George Drake, of 401 Pine St died unexpectedly at noon Sunday in his home.  He had just recently returned to work in the purchasing department at Harris Steel Casting Co after being ill several weeks following a heart attack.

Attica – William Drake, age 65 of Attica died Sunday Oct5 8 at his home here.  He had been ill a  year.  Mr. Drake was born Jan 14, 1902 at Kingman the son of Omer and Nellie Parent Drake. He was married in 1927 to Marion Winks who survives. He had been employed as purchasing agent for Harrison Steel for 22 years.  He had attended Attica schools and he was a member of Rotary Club and Lafayette Purchasing Agents Association. Surviving in addition to the wife is one son, Robert of Minneapolis, Minn.  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Roemer Funeral Home here. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica. - kbz
