DOYLE, Emma - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Covington – Emma Louise Doyle, 94 of Covington, died at 7:28 p.m. Thursday Dec 30, 2010 at Provena USMC Logan Campus. She was born Sept 4, 1916 in Stoddard County, Mo. To the late David Albert and Carrie Irene Day Young. She was a 1934 graduate of Covington HS. She married George A. Richardson on March 23, 1935 and he died April 16, 1976. She then married Thomas Earl Doyle on May 10, 1980 and he died Jan 13, 2001.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed bowling. She resided at Perrysville from 1935-1980, then moved to Washington, Ind and returned to Covington in 2001. She was a member of Benson Chapel United Methodist Church. Surviving are three sons, Floyd A. Richardson (wife Mary) of Covington, Charles “Chuck” Richardson of Tilton, Ill and Philip G. Richardson (wife Lois) of Fairmount, Ill; six stepchildren: Charles Doyle (wife: Mary Ann); Vincent Doyle, Lewis Doyle (wife: Sue Ann) and Thomas Doyle, all of Washington; Mariam Knese of Dayton, Ohio and Jean Sorrenson (husband: Richard) of Olney, Ill.  Funeral services are Monday in Covington.
