DOWDEN, Grover Cleveland - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Thursday - Grover Dowden, 76 died at his home Route 2, Kingman early Tuesday morning. He had been in ill health for seveal weeks. Mr Dowden born in New Market 12-12-1884 was a son of Abigah and Susana Magdeline Myers Dowden. He was a farmer and memver of the Lutheran Church near Wallace. He was married to Lynna McMasters who survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Margaret Bond of Route 2 Kingman and two grandsons. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and two sisters. Funeral services at 1 p.m. Thursday were conducted at the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman Rev. John Servies officiating. Burial in Tangier Cemetery.
