Hillsboro - Mrs. Alta S. Dove, 79 of Rt. 1, Waynetown, died Saturday morning in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. A resident of HIllsboro most of her life, she was a member of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church. Born Oct 12, 1892, at Newport, shew as a daughter of William and Sarah Newlin DeHaven. She married Hansel Dove Dec 6, 1915 at Covington. Survivors include the husband; two sons, Harold L. and Arnold W. both of Indianapolis; a foster daughter, Mrs. Verna Bruner of Newtown; a sister, Mrs. Artie Holton of Danville, Ill; a half sister, Mrs. Joseph Friehage of Indianapolis; three half brothers, Marley DeHaven of Waterloo, Iowa; James DeHaven of Winthrop, Iowa and Rev. Everett White of Attica and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter and grandson. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Hillsboro United Methodist Church with Rev. Walter C. Williams and Rev. Arthur Schenk officiaiting. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home.
