DOTSON, Dorothy Hayman

VEEDERSBURG - Dorothy Dotson, of 710 Park Row, died Saturday night in St. Elizabeth's Hospital at Danville, Ill. where she had been a patient since Jan. 19. She was 64. She was born in Chicago April 1, 1904, a daughter of Solomon and Ida Klempmer Hayman. In 1937 she married Dewey Dotson, who survives. The couple had live in Veedersburg for the past 12 years. Survivors include the husband, two sisters, Mrs. Molly Poncher and Mrs. Sylvia Bernstein of Chicago and three brothers, Jack and Alfred Hayman of Chicago, and Sol of California. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Parham Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wolf Creek Cemetery near Wallace, Ind. Friends may call the the funeral home Monday evening. - jlr

Veedersburg – Mrs. Dorothy (sic) Dotson, 64, Veedersburg died March 1 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville, Ill.  Mrs. Dotson was born in Chicago on April 1, 1904 the daughter of Samuel and Ida Klempmer Hayman. She was married in 1937 in Covington to Dewey Dotson who survives.  Also surviving are three brothers, Saul Hayman, California and Jack and Alfred Hayman both of Chicago; two sisters, Mollye Pomcher and Sylvia Goldstine. One sister, Bessie Pomcher preceded her in death. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Parham Funeral Home. Burial was in Wolf Creek Cemetery near Wallace with Ivan Steed officiating. – kbz
