DOTSON, Arthur V - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Arthur V. Dotson of Attica, age 87, died Sunday afternoon, July 31, in Williamsport Community Hospital. He was born near Grange Corner, August 9, 1895, the son of Joseph and Julia Barker Dotson. August 12, 1943, he married Lois Opal Goodson, who died December 15, 1968. He had been an employee of Harrison Steel Casting Company for 39 years before retiring in 1961.

  Survivors include a son, Joseph of Lafayette; two stepdaughters, Idell Kirts of RR 4, Attica, and Marjorie Tallman of Attica; a stepson, Dallas Cleveland of Attica; two grandchildren, eight step grandchildren and 11 step great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held today (Thursday) at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. Kenneth Burris officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. – s -
