DOGGETT, Charles C. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Charles c. Doggett, 76, 103 S Walnut St., died at 3:15 a.m. Sunday in Culver Hospital. He had been a patient there since last Thursday. Born Feb 22, 1884, in Vermilion County, Ill., he was the son of Absolem and Mary Leisure Doggett. He was married Nov 11, 1907 to Elva Snyder, who preceded him in death. Dr. Doggett was a resident of this city for 35 years and was a retired salesman for the American Federation of Small Businesses. He was a member of United Commercial Travelers. Surviving are four nieces, Mrs. Coral Kimberlin of Danville, Ill., Mrs. Elsie McBride of Rockville, Mrs. Nettie Dale of St. Joseph, Ill., and Mrs. Goldie Ludlum of Goshen and three nephews, Herschel McPhearson of Oakwood, Ill.,Oscar Clodfelter of Russellville and Clyde Clodfelter of Columbus, Ohio. Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. Tuesday at McCloud Funeral Home here with Rev. Donald Foster officiating.Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery at Oakwood, Ill. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Monday.
