Veedersburg - Mrs. Lillie B. Dobbs, age 75, of Veedersburg died about 9:30 a.m. Saturday Oct 19 in St. Elizabeth Hospital, at Danville. She had been a patient six days. Born October 9, 1888 at Pulaski, KY she had resided in Veedersburg for more than 50 years. Her husband, Edward R to whom she had been married for 55 years, died about six years ago. She was a member of the Sterling Christian Church. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Gladys Helms, Mrs. Dorothy Drollinger, Mrs. Mary Jackson and Mrs. Louise Hershberger, all of Veedersburg; Mrs. Mildred Simpson of Kingman Rt; Mrs. Vivian Duvall of Dinuba Calif and two sons the Rev. Alfred Dobbs of Veedersburg and Edward Jr. of Dinuba, Calif. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday Oct 22 at Sterling Christian Church. The Rev. Cal Eastwood of Crawfordsville officiated. Burial was in the Rockfield Cemetery.
