DIXON, Louis (Bud) - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Louis (Bud) Dixon, 86, a life resident of the Foster community, died early today (May 21, 1966) in his sleep at the home of L. F. Vickery on Covington Route 2 where he had been making his home. He had been ill a year. Born Aug. 12, 1879, in Fountain Township of Warren County, he was the son of David Ricketts and Mary Josephine Dixon. He had never married. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. He had been reared by his grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Dixon. Mr. Dixon had been employed as a farm laborer. He was a member of the Benson Chapel Methodist Church. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home. The Rev. Lawrence Tedrow will officiate. Burial will be in West Lebanon Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home. Friends will be received after noon Sunday. --waw
