Attica - Mrs. Pearl Lissie Dinwiddie, 83, former resident of the Newtown and Attica area, died at 9:20 a.m Tuesday in the Tall Trees Nursing Home at Covington, where shje had been a patient 3 years. She was born at Coal Creek in Fountain County on April 8, 1896, a duaghter of Harrison M. and Allice Clawson Kellogg. She married Ray Dinwiddie Aug 14, 1910 at Newtown. The couple lived in the Newtown area, later moving to Attica. He preceded her in death in 1955. Mrs. Dinwiddie was a member of the Attica United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Walter of Pine Village; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Mann of Ft. Wayne, and 5 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. One son preceded her in death in 1941. Funeral services will be conducted at DeSutter Funeral home at 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Harold Bachert officiating. Burial in Old Baptist Cemetery west of Newtown. Mrs. Pearl Dinwiddie, a life-long resident of Attica and Newtown, died 9:20 a.m. Tuesday in Tall Trees Nursing Home in Covington.

Survivors include a son, Walter H., Pine Village, and a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Mann, Ft. Wayne.

She was born at Coal Creek, Fountain County, on April 8, 1886, the daughter of Harrison M. and Alice Clawson Kellogg. She was married Aug. 14, 1910, at Newtown to Ray Dinwiddie, who preceded her in death in 1955. They formerly farmed in the Newtown area and later moved to Attica United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one son, Walter, of Pine Village, and one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Mann, Ft. Wayne. One son, Lee, preceded her in death in 1941. Also surviving are five grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren,

Friends will be received st DeSutter Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the DeSutter Chapel, with

Rev. Harold Bachert officiating. Interment will be in Old Baptist Cemetery west of Newtown.

DINWIDDIE Rites

Funeral services for Pearl L. Dinwiddie, 83, former Attica resident, who died at Tall Trees Nursing Home in Covington Tuesday morning were held at the DeSutter Funeral Home 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Harold Bachert officiating. Favorite selections "In the Garden," Old Rugged Cross," and "How Great Thou Art" were played on the organ.

Serving as pallbearers were John Crawford, Clark Dinwiddie, Larry Bannon, Harold Shultz, Gerald Mann and David Dinwiddie.

Interment was in Old Baptist Cemetery. .....(may be more)
