Robert A. Dill of Attica, age 86, died Friday morning, July 4, in Williamsport Community Hospital. He was born at Milford, Illinois, March 22, 1894, the son of Charles and Estella Dawson Dill. June 17, 1916, he married Ida B. Hysong, who survives. Dill was a member of Riverview United Methodist Church at Independence. He retired several years ago from National Homes Company at Lafayette and had also worked as a farmer and at Harrison Steel Castings Company in Attica.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mary Lou Grimes of Lafayette and Mrs. Margaret Mitton of Attica; a son, Max of Attica; six sisters, Mrs. Lula Olson of St. Charles, Missouri, Mrs. Fannie Kalemba of Lafayette, Mrs. Jessie Larson of Attica, Mrs. Daisy May of Williamsport, Mrs. Lena Morgan of rural Attica and Mrs. Alberta Snyder of Marion; two brothers, John of Danville, Illinois, and Russell of Antwerp, Ohio; 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. Forrest Stickler officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. -S
