Private family services were at 1 p.m. Friday at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg for Mrs. Opal F. Dill, a former area resident.
She died at 1:30 p.m. CST Wednesday (Jan. 11, 1978) at the Oak Forest Hospital in Oak Forest, Ill. She had been a resident of the county resident home/hospital since 1969.
The Rev. Harold Nolting will officiate. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
She was married to Ernest Dill in 1904. He died in 1959.
Survivors include a sister, Grace Burlingame of Condren, Calif.; and three nephews, Vernon Baker of Midlothian, Ill., Beryl Dill of Chicago and Robert Kroening of Crestwood, Ill. – thanks to S
