Death came to Mrs. Elsie May Dicks, 55 of Covington at 6 o'clock Friday evening at Lake View Hospital, Danville where she had been a patient since Tuesday. Death was due to a heart disease. Born Nov 13, 1887, northwest of Bismarck, she was the daughter of John T. and Laura Belle Fetters Ogden. In October of 1911 she married Edward Dicks, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Earl an instructor at Amarillo Army Air Field, Amarillo Texas and Lawrence E of the Naval Air Technical Training Center at Navy Pier, Chicago; two brothers, Otto Ogden of Danville and Benjamin Ogden of Madison, WI and a grandson, John E. Dicks, Chicago. She was a member of the Christian Church at Covington. Funeral services were held at 1:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Crumley Funeral Chapel with Rev. Frank Cline of Roachdale officiating. Burial was made in Davidson Cemetery, Bismarck.
