VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS) — Mrs. Elizabeth J. Dickey, 81, died at 12:02 a.m. today (Feb. 4, 1974) at St. Anthony's Hospital in Terre Haute. She had been making her home with a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Marie) Bowman, on Rockville Route 1 for the past four years. She had been hospitalized since Jan. 26. Born May 10, 1892, in Corydon, she was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Virginia Kessner Bartlow. She was married Dec. 24, 1915, to Clarence F. Dickey, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Dickey resided in the Veedersburg area following her marriage and was a member of the United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Claude (Lucile) Ocletree of Veedersburg and Mrs. Bowman; a brother, Arthur J. Bartlow of Rossville, Ill.; three grandsons, two step grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Parker of Wingate, in 1969 and three brothers. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fishero-Dickerson Funeral Home. The Rev. Glen Youngblood will officiate. Burial will be in Bonebrake Cemetery. Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. --waw
