Kingman – Fred Dickason, age 82 died Thursday Oct 27 in the Wabash Valley Nursing Home in Montezuma where he had resided the past 18 months. Mrs. Dickason was born in Vevay, Ind May 20, 1885 the son of Griffith and Mary (Locke) Dickason. He was a member of the Kingman Masonic Lodge 314. Surviving are his wife, Jennie; three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Duncan of Scipio; Mrs. Ada Duncan of North Vernon and Mrs. Ruby Culbert of Sioux Rapids, Iowa; one son, Lester of Villa Grove, Ill; two brothers, Bert and Terry both of Champaign, Ill; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m Saturday at the Woodrow Funeral Home here. The Rev. Larry McMillin officiated. Burial was in the East Lawn Memorial Park in Urbana, Ill. – kbz
