COVINGTON — Victoria “Vickey” L.
Dice, 54, Covington, died at 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2006 in Warren County,
the result of an auto accident. She was born June 25, 1952 in Covington, the
daughter of John William and Betty (Murray) Brewer. She married Steve Dice May
6, 1972. He survives. She was a 1970 graduate of Covington High School. She was
an administrative assistant at Walgreens Accounting, Danville, Ill. for 24
years. She was an active member of the First Church of Christ, Covington. She
enjoyed gardening, woodcrafts, sporting events and singing, but most of all her
family and especially her grandchildren. Survivors, besides the husband,
include: a daughter, Casey (Randy) Jumps, Perrysville; a son, Mark Dice (fiance
Jessica and her daughter, Corrissa), Covington; three grandsons, Tanner and
Hunter Jumps and Gage Dice; a granddaughter, Avery Jumps; her mother, Betty,
Covington; a sister, Sandra (Steve) Denhart, Pittsboro; and two brothers, Bill
(Patty) Brewer and Scot (Lori) Brewer, both of Covington. She was preceded in
death by her father, John, in April of 1990. Funeral services were at 11 a.m.
Tuesday in the First Church of Christ, Covington, with Randy Walters
officiating. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington. DeVerter Brothers
Funeral Home, Cayuga, was in charge of arrangements. Condolences
