Mrs. Susie Dice, 88, a lifetime resident of Veedersburg and community died at 11:30 p.m. at the Small Nursing Home in Waynetown. She had been a patient one week and had previously been a patient at Lake View Hospital in Danville, Ill. She had been an invalid for the past 5 years. Born in Fountain County, she was the daughter of Frederick and Anna Ephiler Wilson. On Dec 22, 1881 she was married to William Dice, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Veedersburg EUB Church. Survivors include four nieces, Mrs. Carson Briner of Covington, Mrs. Edna Hershbeel of Lafayette; Mrs. Anna Coy of Santa Monica, Calif and Mrs. Ruth Smith of Benton Harmor, Mich; and four nephews, Porter Wilson of Attica, Fred Wilson of Waynetown and Leslie and George Wilson both of Michigan City. A daughter, Ruth preceded her in death on June 7 of tis year. Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Fishero Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Rev. Samuel Pritchard officiating. Burial was in Bonebrake cemetery. – kbz
