Miss Josie L. Dice, 80 of West Lafayette native of Stone Bluff, died Saturday June 2 after a brief illness. Miss Dice was born Dec 9, 1876 daughter of George and Catherine Dice. She left Stone Bluff 30 years ago and moved to West Lafayette where she resided since. Surviving are a brother, Clifford of Royal Center; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Sailor of West Lafayette and Mrs. Amanda Harris of Indianapolis. She was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church. Services were held at the Roger and Meyer Funeral Home in Lafayette Tuesday with burial in Osborn’s Prairie Cemetery at Stone Bluff. – kbz
