Veedersburg, July 8 – Henry Dice, an old and well-known resident of this community died at his country home about a mile out south of here Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock after an illness of several weeks due to old age. Mr. Dice was about 85 years of age and had lived around here for many years and was one of the wealthiest and most prosperous farmers of this vicinity. He was the father of Freeman Dice, Mrs. Miles Marshall and Mrs. Alice Moffett. He leaves several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also leaves one brother, Frank who is 83 years of age and another, Gorge who is 81. George is very low at present and is not expected to live.
