Wiley DeZarn of Danville, Illinois, age 65, was found dead at his home Saturday, September 24. He was born at London, Kentucky, December 8, 1917, the son of Emory and Maggie Burns DeZarn. August 31, 1939, he married Helen Louise Franklin, who survives. A member of the Baptist Church, he served in the Navy during World War II, worked as a plumber for a packing company and had operated a plumbing shop in Elkhart.
Also surviving are six daughters, Patricia Brown of Sturgis, Kentucky, Dorothy Seddon of Burbank, California, Shirley Nolan of Springfield, Missouri, Judy Hall of Hoopeston, Illinois, Doris Brier and June Newman, both of Attica; a son, Wiley Jr. of Attica; his mother; four sisters, Daisy Shoaf of Hammond, Bess Swift, Edna Pycke and Lou Hanthore, all of Attica; four brothers, George of Lakeland, Florida, Lawrence and Walter, both of Williamsport, and Millard of Mellott; 16 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Pape Memorial Home in Danville. – s-
