DeSUTTER, Robert Eugene - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Robert Eugene DeSutter of RR 1, Attica, age 61, died Friday morning, February 5, at his home of an apparent heart attack. He was born in Attica, April 1, 1920, the son of Paul and Minnie Mornout DeSutter. June 13, 1959, he married Phyllis Dean, who survives. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Attica, Parish Council, Eucharistic Minister, Quigle-Palin American Legion at Newtown and a bowling league.

  Also surviving are his father of Attica; a daughter, Marsha, at home; three sons, Phillip of Hillsboro, William and Edward, both at home; three sisters, Katherine Ottinger of West Point, Zeda Mettec of Attica and Mildred Rutan of Crawfordsville; two brothers, Richard of Attica and Bernard of Anderson.

  The body was taken from Maus Funeral Home in Attica to St. Francis Xavier Church in Attica for funeral services Monday morning with Rev. Edward Matuszak officiating. Military graveside rites by the Newtown American Legion and burial were in Catholic Cemetery at Attica. – thanks so much to “S”
