DeSUTTER, Mildred Campbell - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mildred Pearl DeSutter of Attica, age 73, died Tuesday morning, September 21, in Williamsport Community Hospital. She was born at Stone Bluff, August 17, 1909, the daughter of Wilbur S. and Opal E. Remster Campbell. June 1, 1929, she married Raymond A. DeSutter, who survives. Mrs. DeSutter was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and Tri Kappa sorority. A graduate of Covington High School and Indiana State University, she taught in Davis Township and was instrumental in organizing kindergarten classes in Attica. Also surviving are a daughter, Eva Lou McGraw, and a son, R. A. DeSutter II, both of RR 1, Attica; and six grandchildren. The rosary was recited at Maus Funeral Home on Wednesday evening and services were held Thursday morning in St. Francis Xavier Church with Rev. Edward Matuszak officiating. Burial was in the Catholic Cemetery.  --waw
