Attica - Mrs. Genevieve C. DeSutter, 83 of 308 E. Columbia St, Attica, died at 3:20 a.m. Sunday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette.  She had been in failing health the past six years and hospitalized three weeks.

Born in Lafayette, Oct 16, 1901, she attended St. Lawrence School in Lafayette. A resident of Davis Township, Fountain County, most of her life, she moved to Attica eight years ago. She was married Sept 22, 1927 in Lafayette to Lawrence R. DeSutter, who survives.

Mrs. DeSutter was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Attica, Davis Township Home Economics Club and St. Francis Rosary Society and had served as president of Davis TOwnship PTO.  SUrviving with the husband are a son, Lawrence C. DeSUtter of Rt 1, Attica; one daughter, Mrs. Floyd (Elizabeth E) Wilson of Orlando, Fla; three sisters, Mrs. Mike (Mary Katherine) Kochert of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Loretta Runda and Miss Charlotte Nelson, both of Lafayette and three brothers, Alfred, John and Ralph Nelson, all of Lafayette.

Funeral Notices -- DeSutter, Mrs. Genevieve C - Visitation, Maus Funeral Home, Attica 5-9 p.m. Tuesday with Christian Wake service at 5 p.m. Funeral mass 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Attica, Rev. Edward Matuazak officiating. Interment St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, ATtica. Surviving are eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  Her parents and a brother preceded her in death. - kbz
