DeSUTTER, Catherine - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Attica, May 6 – Mrs. Catherine DeSutter, 82, died at her home here Thursday afternoon after a lingering illness. Born in Holland, she came to this country with her parents at the age of 20, the family settling in Odell. She was married to Edward DeSutter who preceded her in death in 1934. She was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Surviving are five daughters and six sons: Miss Henrietta, Francis, Lawrence and Raymond of here; Mrs. Peter DeBrucher of near here; John of near Williamsport; Paul of Newtown; Charles of Whiting; Mrs. Ralph Nelson and Mrs. Marie DeHahan both of Lafayette and Sister Anne Celeste of Chicago; two brothers and two sisters, Miss Seraphine, Paul and John VanDane (sic) all of Lafayette and Mrs Coba Phillips of Marshall, Minn.

“Funeral Notice” = Desutter. Mrs. Catherine – Friends may call at the family residence 500 North Perry Street, Attica, Friday afternoon and evening. Services 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.  Burial in Catholic cemetery, DeSutter Funeral Home, Attica in charge.
