COVINGTON – Mrs. Nellie M. Derringer, age 84, of 20 Grace St., Danville, Ill., mother of Ray and Chris Derringer, both of Covington, died at 7:35 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, in the Danville Care Nursing Home. She had been in ill health for several years. Mrs. Derringer was born Nov. 28, 1883, in Catlin, Ill., the daughter of William and Mary Wilkinson Frazee. She attended the Christian Church in Covington. She was married to William Derringer, who preceded her in death in January, 1964. Surviving Mrs. Derringer are: four sons, Ray and Chris, both of Covington, Roscoe of Williamsport Rt., and William of Lafayette; three daughters, Mrs. Mabel Brown of Hillsboro, Mrs. Alice Robbins of Williamsport, and Mrs. Maxine Crisp of Perrysville; one brother, John Frazee of Danville; one sister, Mrs. Mabel Morgan of Sapulpa, Okla.; 20 grandchildren and 14-great
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and seven brothers and
sisters. Funeral services were held at
1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Barrick & Son Funeral Home in Danville. The Rev. Jack Bennett officiated and burial
