DENTON, Lulu Lewis - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

White Cloud- Mrs. Lulu Leah Denton, 56, a resident of this vicinity for about 20 years, died Sunday at her home in Goodwell township. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Helen Hughey of White cloud, Mrs. Mildred Anderson of Kenosha Wis, Mrs. Dorothy Heleman of Lakeside, Ill., Mrs. Lulu Augdall of Chicago and Virginia and Thelma, at home, and fie sons, Albert, Robert, Preston Jr, and Warren, all of Midland and Richard at home. Funeral services will be held at 2 Tuesday at Goodwell township hall, with burial in Goodwell cemetery.

Miss Katie Sentman returned Friday after having attended the funeral services for Mrs. Preston Denton, held at White Cloud, Mich., on Tuesday afternoon, Feb 27, at 2 o'clock. Mrs. Denton, formerly Miss Lulu Lewis, of this vicinity, died Sunday night February 24. She was ill only a few hours, having suffered a stroke of paralysis. Mrs. Denton was reared by Amos and Nancy Sentman, at their home north of Veedersburg. She was taken by them when she was three years old. The Denton family moved to Michigan several years ago.
