Veedersburg – Funeral services for Mrs. Marilyn Kay Denny age 25 a native of Veedersburg and in recent years a resident of 5912 Village Plaza, Indianapolis were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday April 24 at Harry W. Moore Chapel in Indianapolis with burial in Lincoln Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Denny died Saturday night at the Marion County General Hospital, Indianapolis the result of injuries received earlier in the day when her car struck a utility pole. She had been a city mail carrier in Indianapolis during the past year and prior to that employed by the Radio Corporation of America. She was married to Perry Denny who survives along with two sons, Bryan and Brad, both at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lightle and a brother, Normal Lightle of Indianapolis. Her maternal grandfather, Frank Eugy lives in Veedersburg. Mrs. Denny had resided in Indianapolis the past 19 years.
