Floyd Demumbrum, 58 a resident of Waynetown who formerly resided on the Tom Taylor farm near Hillsboro died Thursday night at the Veterans’ Hospital in Indianapolis where he had been a patient for the past 8 weeks suffering from a heart ailment. He had been employed at the Mineral Plant in Waynetown. He was born in Kentucky and was a member of a Presbyterian Church. His wife preceded him in death 15 years. Three years after her death the family moved to Indiana. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lucy Moore of Marshall, Ind; Mrs. Marie Smith of Glasgow, Ky; two sons, Samuel of Stone Bluff and Joe who made his home with his father in Waynetown. Other survivors are one brother, John of New Albany, Ind; two sisters, Mrs. Mable Love of Noblesville, Ind and Lizzie who resides in Kentucky and 11 grandchildren. He also leaves three half brothers and two half sisters. - kbz
