Veedersburg Ind -- Roy Delp, 59, of Veedersburg Route 2, died Wednesday, May 28, 1980, at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville. Death was attributed to natural causes. A veteran of World War II, he had been employed as a bulldozer operator for 30 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Kingman. Born Jan 23 1921, at Boswell, he was the son of Chancey and Marjorie Daughterty Delp. He was married July 4 1965 to Janice Lucile Furr, who survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Janet Brent Addler of Crawfordsville Route 3 and Taffie Delp at home; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Cole of foster and Mrs. Freida Baldwin of Veedersburg; five brothers, Vernon of Cloverdale, Eston of Clayton, Maurice of Tangier, Gerald of Newport and Troy of Mellott; and a grandson. He was preceded in death by three brothers. Burial in Centennial Cemetery.
