Kingman, Ind. - Mrs. Mary Margy Delp, 88, of Kingman route 2, died at 12:05 p.m. yesterday, Oct 18 1966, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Anna Cole, on Covington Route 2, where she had been residing. She had been in failing health. Born Jan 29 1878, in Veedersburg, she was the daughter of William and Louisa Hutts Daughtery. She was married Aug 6 1896, to Chancy Delp who died Dec 4 1932. Survivors include nine sons, William and Espine, both of Cloverdale, Jesse and Maurice both of Tangier rural route, Chester Monroe and Gerald, both of Newport rural route, Paul of LaPuente, Calif., Troy of Mellott and Roy of Kingman; two daughters, Mrs. Fredia Baldwin of Veedersburg and Mrs. Anna Ellen Cole; a sister, Mrs. Dora Philpot of Yakima, Wash.; a half brother Jesse Whitaker of Beach, N.D. 54 grandchildren and 75 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, two half sisters and five half brothers. (Dora Philpot was a half-sister). Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. The Rev. John S. Meyer will officiate. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery at Marshall. The body is at the funeral home. Friends will be received after 3 p.m. Thursday.
