DELP, Martha Ellen Hendricks - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Martha Ellen HENDRICKS was born May 8, 1863 and departed life Oct 17, 1911, being 48 years, 5 months 12 days old. She was married to Zachery DELP Sept 14, 1879 and to this union 4 children were born: Emma Jane; Leora Eston; Bessie Love and Maude May, two of which preceded their mother to the other shore (note this was Emma & Leora). She was converted some 10 years ago at a meeting held at Sugar Grove Chapel and has always held to the faith though often tried by many temptations. She at last got complete victory, saying she was ready to go to her savior and asked her children and husband to meet her in heaven. She leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn their loss, which is her eternal gain. Funeral services were conducted from the Lutheran Church of Wallace by Rev. AM Tomlinson on Thursday Oct 19th enterment following at the Cemetery nearby.
