Covington, Ind.—Services were at the Moss Funeral Home in Dunedin, Fla. for Samuel F. DeHaven, 88, who died there Monday (July 8, 1974). A former resident of Covington, Mr. DeHaven had lived in Dunedin since his retirement.
Born Aug. 18, 1885, in Covington, he was the son of A. C. and Elizabeth Simpson DeHaven. He married Gladys Horton, who preceded him in death.
He and his wife had moved to Gary where he practiced dentistry before his retirement.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Grace Boggs of Houston, Tex. and a cousin, Miss Jesse DeHaven of Covington.
The body was cremated and the ashes sent to North Judson where memorial services will be held.-s
