Veedersburg – Robert H. DeHaven, 64, a former Veedersburg resident died August 10 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He resided at 1311 Starfield Road, North Little Rock and retired in 1965 as resident and general manager of the Arkansas Savings and Loan Association. He attended Wabash College, Crawfordsville. He was born in Fountain County near Covington. He was a graduate of Veedersburg HS and was a member of the basketball team. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Genevieve Clements DeHaven, a daughter, Mrs. James A. Pitcock of Memphis, Tenn; two brothers, George DeHaven of Johannesburg, South Africa and Roy DeHaven of Hastings, Mich; a sister, Mrs. OM Ratcliff of Muncie, Ind and two grandchildren. A brother Edward preceded him in death. Services were held in Little Rock at the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. Burial was in Roselawn Memorial Park in Little Rock – kbz
