M.S. Deeter, 91, a pioneer school teacher and farmer in Richland Township until he retired and moved to Crawfordsville 30 years ago died in Culver Hospital on Nov. 16. He was born on Jan 15, 18860 near Gettysburg, PA and the family moved to Richland Township when he was 7 years old. He was a widower, his wife having died in 1950. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Anson Thomas of Indianapolis and Mrs. Chelsey Patton of Crawfordsville; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Reid Booher of Lafayette, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Crawfordsville with burial in Green Bay Cemetery near Newtown. - kbz
