DEE, Jack - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

WILLIAMSPORT – Jack Dee, age 82, of Indianapolis, a former resident of this area, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove, Ind. He had been ill several months. Mr. Dee was born Feb. 25, 1886, in Warren County, the son of William and Jane Dochel Dee. He had resided in Indianapolis since 1926 after moving from Warren County near Judyville. He was married to Lona Keister, who died in 1964. He had been retired eight years and had been a janitor for an apartment building in Indianapolis. Surviving are: three brothers, William of Attica, George of South Haven, Mich., and Dewey of Hoopeston, Ill; and a nephew, Robert, of West Lebanon. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Crowmer & Siddens Funeral Home in Williamsport. The Rev. Everett White officiated and burial was in Highland Cemetery. – jlr
