Williamsport, Ind - Mrs. Ruth Amanda DeBord, 86, of 205 Fall, Williamsport, who had been a patient at Woodland Manor Nursing in Attica since Sept 22, 1972, died at Home Hospital in Lafayette at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday (July 10, 1973). She had been a patient since June 25. Born March 29, 1887, in West Lebanon, she was the daughter of Edward Randolph and Sarah McIntosh Bonebrake. She formerly had resided in Attica from 1918-1944, after which time she resided at Williamsport. She was married to Clarence DeBord in January of 1910, at West Lebanon, who died in June of 1944. A graduate of West Lebanon High, she had been employed at Clay and Jean's Restaurant in Williamsport for 20 years. He husband had formerly been employed at Harrison Steel Casting co. in Attica and was on the police department prior to his death. Mrs. DeBord was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Williamsport, American War Mothers93, American Legion Auxiliary 259 of Warren County, Rocky Dale Chapter Order of Eastern Star 111, Rebekah Lodge 102 of Rainsville and was a charter member of the Moose Lodge of Attica. Survivors include a son, Harold "Andy" of Williamsport; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Marie Ordakowski of Springfield, Va' a brother, Carl Bonebrake Sr. of West Lebanon, two grandchildren, two nieces and six nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Dale Maus Funeral Home in Attica, with the Rev. Vernon Lallement officiating. Burial will be in the West Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m Thursday. The Rocky Dale Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star will conduct memorial services at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Thursday. The family requests that memorials be inthe form of contributions to the heart fund or the cancer society.
