DeBAUN, Charity - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Charity DeBaun, 92, died at 2 a.m. on Saturday May 20 at the home of her son, Ozro of Hillsdale.  She had been ill only a few days.  Mrs. DeBaun was born in Parke County on November 10, 1857 the daughter of Samuel and Paula Ann Garrison Todd. She was married to John DeBaun who preceded her in death in 1894.  She was a pioneer business woman of Parke County and later in Fountain.  She was a member of the Yeddo OES Lodge.  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Nora Hobson of Kingman; two sons, Ozro of Kingman and Warren of Chicago; 4 granddaughters; 7 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.  Funeral services  were held at the Woodrow Funeral Home on Monday May 22 at 1 p.m. with the Rev CL Airhart officiating.  Interment was at Rush Creek Cemetery. ~~thanks to Bren M for sending this one ~~~Transcribed and Type by kbz
