DEAL, Bertha Fassnacht - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Tangier - Mrs. Bertha Fassnacht Deal, 89, of this community, died early Saturday morning in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jack Baer, at Munster, Ind. Born near Woodland, in St. Joseph County, on Dec. 7, 1874, she was the daughter of Frederick and Louise Stuber Fassnacht. She married Willis Grant Deal of Wyatt, Ind., 67 years ago. Mrs. Deal was a member of the Evangelical United Christian church at Woodland and the Ladies Aid of the Tangier Friends Church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Jack (Frances)Baer of Munster, Mrs. Clarence (May) Rader of Syracuse and Mrs. Cyril (Theresa) Parker of Tangier; three sons, Clifford of Vista, Calif., Fred of Denton, Tex., and Ted of Tangier; a sister, Mrs. William Felten of Mishawaka and eight grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at Bremen Tuesday morning, followed by rites at the church here at 3.m. with burial here.
