Robert Leon Dazey, 70, Wingate, died 8:45 a.m. Monday in Country Care Nursing Home, Williamsport. He had been ill for the past 10 months. Mr. Dazey had been a truck driver and owned Dazey Trucking Co, Wingate. His membership included Pleasant Hill United Church of Christ, Wingate; Elks Lodge, Crawfordsville and Moose Lodge, Attica. He was a 1949 wingate HS graduate. He was born April 13, 1930 at Wingate to Charles and Verna Rodgers Dazey. He married Mary Jo Jennings on Dec 24, 1949 at Wingate. SHe survives. Also surviving are a son, Daniel, Brookstone; a daughter, Diane Suitors, Hillsboro; a brother, Virgil, Wingate; a sister, Patricia Bane, Wingate; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Three sisters are deceased. Funeral services are scheduled 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 S. Indiana 25, Waynetown with Revs. Gordin Nichols and Junior Haas officiating.
