DAZEY, Henry - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Waynetown, May 25 - Henry Dazey, 67, died at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville at 4:10 a.m. today following a major operation Tuesday. He was the husband of Mrs. Louella (Watts) Dazey who died last Thursday.  Born in the Center neighborhood north of New Richmond, he was marrie din 1891.  He spent all his life in Montgomery and Parke County. He was a member of the Christian Church. Surviving are the following 16 children: Mrs. Asa Humphreys, Mrs. Lloyd Stephens and John Dazey, Yountsville; Mrs. Doris Kelley, Thomas Dazey and Leland Dazey, Crawfordsville; Mrs. Robert Fulwider, Mrs. Marion Smith and Donald Dazey, Wingate; Mrs. Vern Staggs, Marshall; Mrs. Kenneth Seybold, New Market; Mrs. Geneva Swugart, Salem, Ore; Mrs. Jud Evans, Satsop, Wash; Mrs. Helen Brady, Pittsburgh, Kan; Fred Dazey, Liberal, Mo; and Harold Dazey, Chicago; three brothers, Barnum, Waynetown; Charles, Wingate and Clifford, Crawfordsville and a sister, Mrs. Robert Bunnell, Waynetown. Funeral services for Mrs. Dazey were to be held today but were postponed until Monday at 2 p.m. when double funeral services for Mr. and Mrs. Dazey will be held from the Center Church, Rev. AC Duncan officiating. Burial in Oakland cemetery, the Grenard Funeral Home in charge. - kbz
