Arcadia - Clellie Day, 61, for approximately 20 years a farmer residing near Arcadia, was found dead in bed at 3 a.m. today by his wife. Death was believed to have been caused by a heart ailment. Mr. Day was born in Fountain county but had farmed near Arcadia until recently when he moved into Arcadia while building a new home south of town. The body was removed to the Shaffer Funeral home at Arcadia and services will be held there at 10 a.m. Sunday. Burial will be near the family home at Yeddo, Fountain county. Mr. Day was a member of a Christian Church near Veedersburg. Survivors, in addition to the widow, are one daughter, Mrs. Velma Cornell, who has been residing with her parents while her husband is in service, one brother, Will Day, of New Castle, and two grandchildren.

He was married in Dec 1908 to Viola Furr of Hillsboro and they lived on the James Furr farm near Hillsboro until 12 years ago when they moved to a farm near Arcadia. Besides the widow and a daughter, Velma at home, one brother, Will Day of Kokomo survives. The funeral was held Sunday morning at 11 o’clock at the Centennial Church near Yeddo with burial in the church cemetery. - kz
