DAY, William Caleb - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Veedersburg - William Caleb Day, 77, died of a heart attack near his home in Veedersburg at 1 p.m. Monday. He was born July 22, 1887, in Fountain County to John and Belle Reath Day. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Day was first married to Stella Barnard. His next marriage was to Nellie Isaacs. She survives along with a son, Robert, of Noblesville; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Spiedel of Carmel, Mrs. Ruby Ponser of Indianapolis and Mrs. Catherine Gerber of Effie, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. Doris Eldridge of Veedersburg and a step-son Thomas McBroom of Lafayette. Services will be Thursday at the Trout Funeral Home in Noblesville. Burial will be in the Arcadia Cemetery near Noblesville. Time of the services has not yet been set.
